During his Course of Enquiry at A4, Sean offered occasional visual and spatial articulations of his research in the Gallery, which later became his exhibition, Photo book! Photo-book! Photobook!. These photocopies – culled from newspapers, magazines and other such publications – were taped alongside notable books and dates to indicate their significance within Sean's conception of the South African photobook.
