Bad Paper is a multi-disciplinary editions and publications entity based in Cape Town. Interested in the idea of the multiple and all its variations, Bad Paper’s projects probe the lives of a single artwork in multiple locations, the preciousness (or lack thereof) in a copy, and the human elements of imperfection intrinsic to the process of repetition.

During their residency, Bad Paper designed the Index for the exhibition Picture Theory at A4 Arts Foundation, from which a range of projects and opportunities for engagement and collaboration were catalysed.
