The Avenues World School: Water Crisis Tour at A4 Arts Foundation.
Students from the Avenues World School are tasked to engage with water as a natural resource and ask after the effects of water shortages on environment, economy, and society. Beginning with the challenge to "actively practise conservation in your own life," students workshop innovative responses to global issues.
The program at A4 proposes an abstraction of the notion of 'crisis' into the terrain of 'opportunity' through the question - 'What are the opportunities of not having water?'
Through a series of exercises, students imagine new ways of thinking in moments of crisis and learn to use experimentation as a tool of methodological intervention.
