Student writers report on the Open Book Literary Festival.
OBzine is created by students in writing, journalism and the arts. It uses the Open Book Festival as a platform, and produces a daily zine containing reviews of work discussed at Open Book, and write-ups of the discussions and events.
Open Book is a five-day annual festival of books and literature attended by authors, poets, storytellers, and narrative illustrators from South Africa, Africa, and abroad. The approximately 150 events are based on ideas, imagination, and wit, in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and comics.
